The Boss GT-100 uses the Clean Twin amp model as a high-headroom, low-gain platform so the onboard Muff Fuzz block generates the entire distortion character without digital clipping. Since the Telecaster bridge pickup has more high-end bite than Gilmour's overwound DiMarzio FS-1 Strat pickup, tone on the fuzz is rolled down to 4 and the Tele's tone knob is backed off to 8. Compression placed before the fuzz provides Gilmour's endless singing sustain at reasonable volumes.
