Your SA series has passive single-coils or humbuckers — thinner and brighter than Fredrik's high-output Lundgren 8-string pickups. I dropped gain from the original 7.5 to 6 because the GT-100's Rectifier model saturates faster than a real Dual Rec, and boosted mid by +1 to compensate for your guitar's lower output and narrower frequency range. The original tone is deceptively clean — the heaviness comes from the tuning and palm-mute precision, not gain.

PRO TIPThe secret to Meshuggah's clarity is palm-mute consistency and picking right over the bridge saddles — the attack definition comes from technique, not gear. Your 6-string SA won't hit the subterranean F, but you can approximate the feel by tuning to drop A or B and focusing on making every note stop dead when you release pressure.
