RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; essential for cutting low-end flub on down-tuned djent riffs
The MG15R has a full 3-band EQ and spring reverb but no presence control. Blood Eagle is tuned down to Drop G# where the 8-inch speaker easily flubs out, so bass is pulled down to 4 and mids pushed to 7 to retain articulation against the Marshall's inherent low-mid bump. Because you lack a dedicated boost pedal, amp gain is set directly to 7 on the Overdrive channel to reach modern saturation without turning muddy.
