Why these settings

The Boss GT-1's SOLID preamp model replicates Dimebag's Randall solid-state bite perfectly without tube sag. The pre-amp mid boost from the EQ block combined with the post-amp mid scoop produces the razor-sharp harmonic squeals and fluid sustain on the JS22 stock ceramic bridge pickup. Main riff/outro backing: bypass the chorus and delay blocks, leaving the dry high-gain scoop.

PRO TIPDig in hard with the edge of a heavy pick right next to the bridge pickup to induce the high-register artificial pinch harmonics Dime relies on throughout the solo.
