Why these settings

The Haze GAG10 10W practice amp features only Gain, Bass, and Treble controls (no mid or presence knobs), so its built-in drive switch must carry the saturation today. Keep Gain at 7 to capture solid-state aggression without pushing the small 5-inch speaker into muddy low-end farting, and push Treble to 8 to mimic the harsh top-end bite of Dime's Bill Lawrence pickup. Adding a graphic EQ or high-gain dirt pedal later will let you achieve the true 800Hz parametric scoop that this 2-band amp cannot do alone.

PRO TIPPick extremely aggressively near the bridge saddles using heavy, stiff picks (like Dime's 0.88mm Dunlop Tortex) to emphasize the metallic, razor-sharp transient attack on palm-muted chugs.
