| Knob | Setting (0–10) |
|---|---|
| Gain | 3 |
| Bass | 5 |
| Mid | 7 |
| Treble | 7 |
| Reverb | 0 |
| Master | 6 |
01Tube Screamer (TS808)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Use the Mustang LT25's built-in 'Overdrive' stomp instead: Gain 3, Tone 4, Level 6
02Chorus (built-in Mustang)
Enable in FX slot — subtle width during rhythm parts
03Pitch Shifter (built-in Mustang)
Set to +9/-9 cents detune (SPX90 Symphonic emulation) for stereo width — enable in FX slot
The Mustang LT25's British amp voice approximates the JCM800, but lacks a real Marshall's power-amp compression — the Overdrive stomp (low drive setting) compensates by pushing the front end like Zakk's TS808. Gain is set low (3) because the OD does the heavy lifting; your Godin's humbuckers are hotter than passive pickups, so the amp doesn't need additional preamp gain. Mid and treble are pushed to retain the original's bite and upper-mid bark without the Mustang's digital fizziness.
