01Compressor Block (Mooer GE100)
Placed before the amp block to provide the singing sustain Mikael gets from neck-pickup tracking
02Delay Block (Digital Delay, Mooer GE100)
Subtle quarter-note ambiance to mimic the Studio Fredman mix space
The Yamaha Pacifica 112V neck single-coil has a brighter top-end and lower output than Mikael's mahogany-bodied PRS neck humbucker, so rolling the guitar tone knob down to 7 warms up the attack. Setting the GE100's F.Clean model gain to 4 with the compressor block gives the necessary edge-of-breakup compression and sustain without turning into gritty distortion. The GE100 amp block lacks a dedicated physical presence knob, so upper-end glass is managed solely with the treble control kept neutral at 5.
