Why these settings

The Bandit's TransTube circuit runs hotter and looser in the low end than a JCM800, so bass is dropped from 6 to 5 to keep it tight. The Bandit's mid control is less aggressive than Marshall's, but the scoop still works at 3. Your Cort X300's humbuckers are moderate output versus the hot Dirty Fingers, so gain stays at 7 rather than backing off.

PRO TIPPalm mute directly over the bridge saddles with your pick angled slightly — this is where Hetfield's machine-gun chunk comes from; too far back sounds flabby, too far forward loses attack.
