Why these settings

The Blues Junior has no high-gain channel — amp gain at 3 keeps it clean so the distortion pedal is the sole gain source. Your Strat's single coils are bright and low-output vs Friedman's JB humbucker, so I pulled treble down to 5 and pushed mid to 7 to compensate for the scooped Fender voicing and add the midrange bark the original has. Bass at 4 prevents flub from the pedal's saturation. Reverb 0 — the original is bone dry.

PRO TIPFriedman's solo tone relies on his picking hand positioning — he picks closer to the bridge with a slightly angled attack to get that cutting, vocal quality. On a Strat, this is even more critical. Also consider tuning to E♭ standard to match the recording.
