The Rocktronic 10 GA is a small practice amp with limited headroom and no physical presence or reverb controls, so push its built-in drive switch to gain 7 to emulate the recording's fuzz saturation. Rolling the Telecaster's tone knob back to 7 smooths the single-coil bridge bite to mimic the warm bedroom fuzz on the record. If you add a dedicated fuzz pedal later, switch the amp to the clean channel with gain dropped to 2.
