RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Tightens the low-end flub and adds the sharp pick attack of the studio cut.
The Orange Crush 12 has a naturally thick low-mid voice, so mids are pulled back to 4 and treble pushed to 7 to approximate the scooped, aggressive Dual Rectifier bite. Gain and Overdrive are dialed high to push the analog solid-state circuit into modern nu-metal saturation from the amp alone. Bass is capped at 6 to prevent the 6-inch speaker from bottoming out on the heavy palm-muted drop-D riffs.
