Why these settings

The Tagima TW61 uses P90 pickups, which have looser low frequencies and more hum than Wes Borland's humbuckers. We use the GT-1 T-Scream model with Drive at 0 and Level at 8 to tighten the flubby low-end before hitting the R-FIER preamp, while dropping mids to 4 to replicate the classic Dual Rectifier nu-metal scoop. The GT-1 built-in Noise Suppressor is engaged to eliminate P90 single-coil noise during the tight syncopated stops.

PRO TIPTune down to C# Standard (C#-F#-B-E-G#-C#) using heavy gauge strings (at least 11-52 or 12-56) to maintain string tension, and aggressively palm-mute with a stiff 1.0mm+ pick right at the bridge saddle for that sharp percussive chug.
