The Fender Rumble 15 is a solid-state bass practice amp with only Volume/Bass/Treble — no gain, mid, presence, or reverb controls. It cannot produce overdrive on its own, so the DS-1 becomes essential as the gain source set very low (Dist 3) to mimic the Supro's edge-of-breakup compression.
