01Valeton GP-200 (Noise Gate block)
Enable noise gate block first in chain to tighten palm mutes and kill hum between riffs
02Boss GE-7
In front of amp to add upper-mid presence and tighten low-mids for Quad Cortex clarity on the 6505
The Quad Cortex original is tighter and more mid-scooped than a raw 6505+. Your 6505 has more inherent low-mid saturation, so I dropped mid to 4 and bass to 5 vs the original's 6/5 to prevent muddiness. Gain at 6 matches the saturated-but-defined attack; the 6505 runs hot so you need less than the Quad Cortex's 7. The GE-7 pushes upper-mids to recover the modern 'cut' the digital rig had.
