01Boss DS-1 Distortion
Primary gain source — amp stays clean, DS-1 provides the crunch. Keep Dist moderate to preserve chord definition between hits.

The Frontman 10G cannot produce Marshall Plexi crunch from its preamp — it stays clean until it breaks up badly through the small speaker. DS-1 becomes your entire gain stage; amp gain dropped to 3 to keep it as a clean platform. No mid or presence knob exists on the 10G, so those are null. Treble raised slightly vs the original Marshall setting (6.5→6 on your scale) because the Frontman's treble shelf is higher and brighter than a Plexi's.
