Why these settings

John Norum used hot DiMarzio humbuckers/stacked singles into a cranked Marshall JCM800 boosted by an OD. On your Strat with single coils, running the TS9 as a clean mid-boost with Drive at 2 and Level high adds the necessary low-mid punch and push into the Helix Brit 2204 model. Keep the amp mids pushed to 7 to compensate for single-coil scoop.

PRO TIPDig in hard with a heavy pick near the bridge on rhythmic palm mutes, and use Norum's signature wide, fast wrist vibrato on sustained solo bends to trigger upper-order Marshall harmonics.
