PRS SE Custom 24 humbuckers run hotter and brighter than Slash's Alnico II Pros, so gain dropped from original 8 to 7 and treble stays at 7 rather than 8. Brit Plexi Brt model nails the cranked Super Lead midrange bark; the Bright switch adds the high-end sparkle Slash got from Channel 1 top input. Helix master at 6 lets the power-amp modeling compress naturally without fizz.

PRO TIPPick directly over the bridge pickup pole pieces with a hard downstroke angle for that percussive 'clack' on the intro arpeggio — Slash's attack is as much of the tone as the amp.
