The Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb is an open-back, pristine clean platform that cannot physically produce the saturated Mark IIC+ high gain on 'Pull Me Under' using its own preamp or a standalone TS9. To hit this tone, keep the amp on the Normal channel at low volume as a clean pedal platform and place a dedicated Mesa-style high-gain distortion pedal before your TS9.
