01Boss GT-1 OD/DS (T-SCREAM block)
Clean boost in front of the preamp model to tighten low end and add upper-mid cut
02Boss GT-1 DELAY (Standard Delay block)
Post-amp (FX loop position), set around 380ms with 2-3 audible repeats for Lynch's lead space
The Boss GT-1 uses 0-100 values internally, mapped here to the target Plexi hot-rod EQ on the high-gain preamp block. The ceramic bridge humbucker on the Jackson JS22 is naturally aggressive and bright, so presence and treble are backed off slightly compared to Lynch's warmer vintage Seymour Duncan to prevent top-end fizz. The onboard T-SCREAM block tightens the flubby low end of the preamp model to replicate George's percussive palm muting. Clean verse/intro: none needed as this instrumental track stays heavy throughout.
