Why these settings

The Fender Twin Reverb has massive clean headroom and a naturally scooped midrange compared to Keith Scott's cranked Marshall. Push the amp's mid control to 8 and keep the bright switch off to temper the Strat's bridge single coil, while raising the volume to get maximum natural tube warmth. An overdrive pedal like a TS9 is strongly recommended to provide the missing saturated sustain, after which you can drop the amp volume to clean headroom levels.

PRO TIPRoll the bridge pickup tone knob back to 8 to tame the high-end snap and pick with the fleshier side of the pick edge to achieve Keith Scott's round, flute-like vocal sustain on the high bends.
