The JCM900 has a naturally brighter, more mid-forward voice than the original Dual Rectifier and Bogner Uberschall mix. Keep the mids around 5 to retain the British punch without thinning out, and run the gain hot at 8 to achieve the required metalcore saturation directly from the amp. Adding an overdrive like a TS9 in front as a clean boost later will tighten up the fast palm-muted chugs even further.
