RECOMMENDED — not owned (use as a clean boost to tighten low-end and boost single-coil output into the JCM900)
The JCM900 has a naturally brighter, more mid-focused bite compared to Synyster Gates' scooped and bass-heavy Mesa Rectifier/Bogner tone, so mids are pulled back to 4 and bass is pushed to 7. Your Stratocaster single-coil pickups have less output and sharper top-end than Syn's high-output humbuckers, requiring gain pushed to 8 and the guitar tone knob rolled back slightly to 8 to avoid ice-pick highs. Adding a classic TS-style overdrive pedal as a boost in the future will tighten the low-end palm mutes even further.
