01Distortion Pedal (RECOMMENDED)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. A Boss DS-1, MXR Super Badass, or Pro Co RAT will get you into the ballpark. The Orange Crush 12 cannot reach Bogner-level saturation on its own.

The Orange Crush 12 is a single-channel solid-state practice amp with only gain, bass, treble, and volume — no mid, presence, or reverb controls exist on this amp. It cannot produce Bogner-level saturation even with gain maxed. A distortion pedal in front is mandatory to reach this tone; the amp stays at moderate gain (7) to add warmth without mud. Bass is pulled back to 4 because the Crush 12's small 6" speaker gets flubby with high bass and heavy distortion.
