Why these settings

The Orange Crush 12 is warm and mid-present like the British-voiced originals but lacks the saturation depth of a Bogner/Rectifier stack — gain 8 is near its usable ceiling before fizz. The amp has no mid or presence knobs (bass/treble only), so bass is pulled to 5 to prevent mud on the small speaker. A TS-style pedal in front would add the tight low-end focus and mid push that defined the studio tone.

PRO TIPThe GRX70QA's Infinity R pickups are lower output than the Invaders on the original — dig in hard with your pick attack right at the bridge for that percussive chunk on the palm-muted sections, and tune to Drop D (D-A-D-G-B-E) as the song requires.
