The Orange Crush 20 is naturally warm and compressed with strong low-mids, closer to the fuzzy Blue Album sound than a Fender or Marshall would be stock. I pulled treble down to 5 (vs the typical 6-7) because the Crush's voicing is already dark and the AZES31's single coils add enough top-end bite. Without a Big Muff, you'll get crunch but miss the woolly, harmonically rich fuzz — amp gain at 7-8 is your closest approximation.
