Why these settings

The Mustang LT25 lacks a dedicated physical presence knob, and its primary panel EQ exposes Bass and Treble for this model. We select the high-gain Metal 2000 amp voice and push the Bass slightly to compensate for the thinner single-coil bridge pickup on your Squier Affinity Strat. Treble is dialed back to 5 to prevent single-coil harshness while retaining modern pop-punk clarity.

PRO TIPDig in with a heavy 1.0mm+ tortex pick directly near the bridge saddles using aggressive downstrokes to get the percussive, snappy transient characteristic of modern pop-punk rhythm tracks.
