Why these settings

The Cort CM15R faceplate features only Gain, Bass, Treble, and Reverb controls (no physical Middle or Presence knobs), so mid and presence are set to null. Because the Bullet Strat has bright ceramic single coils, treble is pulled back to 5 and the guitar tone is rolled down to 8 to avoid brittle ice-pick highs. Keeping the amp on its clean channel provides the necessary headroom for the atmospheric arpeggios.
