RECOMMENDED — not owned. Use as a light clean boost to add subtle grit without saturating. Without this, the tone will be either too sterile or too aggressive on the Uberschall.

Why these settings

This is a significant mismatch. The Uberschall is a tight, scooped, high-gain monster designed for djent and metal—it has no Vox-style chime or Class A breakup. I've set gain to absolute minimum (1) and pulled presence down to 3 to tame the fizz and aggression. Your Ibanez GIO has ceramic humbuckers (hotter than the original's single coils or low-output Duesenberg humbuckers), so I've rolled guitar volume to 8 and tone to 7 to soften the attack. Mids pushed to 6 to counter the Uberschall's natural scoop. Honestly, you'll get closer to this tone by buying a £30 TS clone and keeping gain floored than any Uberschall setting.

PRO TIPPick closer to the neck with the fleshy part of your fingers for a rounder attack—this song's strumming is loose and jangly, not tight and percussive. The Uberschall will punish hard picking with unwanted grit, so lighten your touch dramatically.
