RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential if your amp's gain channel lacks the tight saturation needed. Run into a clean amp channel if you add this pedal.
The Audio Master G15 is a budget solid-state practice amp with limited gain structure compared to Daron's modded Marshalls and Rectos. I've maxed out usable gain at 8 and scooped mids to 3 to approximate the Rectifier's characteristic mid-cut. Your Cort G250's humbuckers are lower output than the SG's vintage PAFs, so treble stays moderate at 6 to avoid fizz. Without a distortion pedal, you'll get 60-70% of the aggression—a DS-1 or similar would close the gap significantly.
