The original punk-ska tone relies on Tomas Kalnoky's humbucker-loaded guitars driving high-gain British/Mesa stacks, so the '80S ROCK' model delivers the signature punch. To compensate for the brighter, lower-output single coils of your Stratocaster, the bass is held at 5 with the middle boosted to 7 to prevent thinness on upstrokes. Treble is dialed to 6 to retain punk bite without becoming shrill. Ska verse: roll the guitar volume back to 7 or switch to bridge+middle for a cleaner, snappier skank. Middle has no knob on the LT25: press the encoder to open the preset, press it again on the amp model, then select MIDDLE on the display and turn the encoder.
