Why these settings

The Mooer Hornet 15 Clean 2 voice replicates the scooped, glassy Fender blackpanel sound SRV used as his foundation. To simulate the fat mid-push of his cranked Vibroverb and Dumble rig, mid is elevated on the amp and the TS9 is set with drive low and level high to tighten the low end and add mid-range punch. Treble is pushed to 8 to match the bite of a 15-inch JBL speaker.

PRO TIPSRV tuned down a half-step to Eb and used heavy strings (.013-.058); dig in hard with the side or rounded shoulder of a heavy pick to replicate his explosive attack and percussive rakes.
