The MG30CFX OD1 channel approximates the JCM800's mid-forward aggression. Pushed mids to 7 to capture Blackfire's cutting thrash tone—the original rig had cranked Marshalls with strong 2-3kHz presence. Bass kept at 4 to avoid mud through the MG's 10" speaker; the original had tight low-end from closed-back 4x12s. Gain at 7 gets the saturation without losing palm-mute definition.
