Why these settings

The Yamaha GA15II's built-in drive switch lacks the aggressive saturation of a Mesa DC-10, so your Boss DS-1 serves as the primary high-gain engine into the clean channel with amp gain kept low to prevent muddiness. The Pacifica 012's passive ceramic bridge humbucker has less compression than Mick and Jim's active EMG 81s, so the DS-1 Distortion is pushed high while keeping Tone dialed back to tame harsh top-end on the small 6.5-inch speaker. Keep the amp's Middle slightly recessed and Bass moderate to maintain clarity without overloading the small enclosure.

PRO TIPEyeless is in Drop B (B-F#-B-E-G#-C#); heavy-gauge strings (at least 11-56 or 12-60) are essential to prevent the low B from flapping against the frets and robbing the tone of its percussive, tight attack.
