01Tube Screamer (TS9 or clone)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Essential for tightening low-end on high-gain tones. Run into amp input with Drive at 0 (clean boost mode) to cut flub and add pick attack definition.
02Noise Gate (ISP Decimator or similar)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned. Critical for the tight stop-start riffs in this song. Single coils will be noisy at this gain level without one.
This is an extreme mismatch: the original uses 7-string guitars with active humbuckers through high-gain Rectifiers, and you have a single-coil Strat through a boutique clean amp. The Two Rock is a Fender-voiced platform amp designed for touch-sensitive cleans and edge-of-breakup—it cannot produce Rectifier-style saturation. I pushed gain to max and scooped mids to approximate the voicing, but you will not achieve the wall-of-sound chug without a high-gain distortion pedal acting as your primary gain source. The TS recommendation is a band-aid; a proper metal distortion (Pro Co RAT, Boss HM-2, or Revv G3) would get closer.
