01Onboard Compressor Block (Mustang LT25)
Built-in Mustang effect block to emulate the snappy pick attack and subtle squash of Frusciante's front-end CE-1 preamp
02Boss CE-1 / Chorus Ensemble (Preamp boost / Chorus)
RECOMMENDED — not currently owned; Frusciante used the CE-1 preamp unbypassed to push the amp into natural breakup
The Mustang LT25's Vintage 50s model provides the glassy, chimey Fender clean platform, dialled to gain 4 for immediate touch-sensitive breakup. Because your Ibanez GRG320FA has hotter humbuckers than Frusciante's vintage single coils, bass is pulled down to 4 and treble pushed to 7 to retain cutting funk clarity without mud. The LT25 does not feature a physical presence knob on its top panel.
