Set via encoder in preset REV block for subtle 70s studio room ambience
Bill Bartlett tracked the iconic riff using a heavily modified Les Paul through a cranked vintage Marshall JMP/Super Lead circuit. The Mustang LT25's 70S ROCK model reproduces that late-60s/70s Marshall EL34 midrange bark and speaker breakup directly from the amp model. Pushing the internal mid setting to 7 while keeping bass around 5 prevents the 8-inch practice speaker from muddying up during the fast pentatonic gallops. Middle has no knob on the LT25: press the encoder to open the preset, press it again on the amp model, then select MIDDLE on the display and turn the encoder.
