The Blackstar ID:Core 10 V4 uses a single EQ ISF knob instead of separate bass/middle/treble controls; sweep ISF fully clockwise to 10 for the required British/Vox mid focus. OD1 at gain 7 provides the sustained saturation of Brian May's cranked AC30 without an external boost. Using the neck+middle position with the tone knob rolled down to 7 warms up the Strat single coils to emulate the thick, vocal response of the Red Special in series. If you acquire a Treble Booster, switch the amp voice to Crunch and lower amp gain to 4.
