Why these settings

Your ES-339 humbuckers are warmer and hotter than Gilmour's single-coil FS-1, so I dropped the MG-30 Muff's sustain slightly and rolled treble back by 1 vs the original Hiwatt settings. The Nux Mighty 40's Optima channel emulates Hiwatt voicing — keep it clean and let the Muff do all the dirt work. Using both gain stages would mud out the tone.

PRO TIPGilmour's secret weapon is the slow, deliberate vibrato with wide bends — practice bending a full step and holding with finger vibrato on the bent note. The tone only sings when the bends are perfectly controlled.
