Why these settings

The Twin Reverb provides massive clean headroom similar to Gilmour's Hiwatt DR103, but its natural midrange scoop requires boosting the amp Mid to 7 and rolling off Treble to prevent harsh fuzz highs. Since the Twin does not overdrive on its own, adding a Ram's Head Big Muff clone is essential to achieve the singing, saturated sustain of the original record. When you add the Big Muff, keep the Twin's volume clean and let the pedal generate all the distortion.

PRO TIPRoll the Strat bridge tone knob down to 8 to tame the high-frequency pierce, and use wide, deliberate vibrato with the flesh of the finger pads to emulate Gilmour's vocal-like phrasing.
