Why these settings

The Mooer Hornet's OD channel is voiced darker and more compressed than a JCM800, so I pushed mids to 7 (vs the original's ~5) and kept bass conservative at 4 to prevent mud. Your EC-256's humbuckers are hotter than Stone's PAF-style Les Paul, so gain stays at 6 rather than the 7+ he ran on the Marshall. Without a TS9, the tone will lack the signature midrange honk and low-end tightening—the Hornet alone will sound flabbier and less focused.

PRO TIPThe riff's aggression comes from palm-muting tightness and pick attack angle—dig in hard with the pick angled slightly toward the bridge, and keep your palm mutes short and percussive, lifting just before each open chord stab.
