Why these settings

The Roland Spirit 10A is a small solid-state practice amp with no channel switching and limited headroom — it cannot produce Dimebag-level saturation on its own. The DS-1 becomes the gain engine; amp gain dropped to 2 to keep it as a clean platform and prevent muddy stacking. Mid scooped to 3 and bass/treble pushed to 7 replicates the V-curve EQ that defined this tone. Guitar tone knob rolled to 7 because the Gio's ceramic humbuckers are brighter than Dimebag's L-500XLs.
