Why these settings

Dimebag achieved his razor attack by pushing an EQ hard into a solid-state Randall. On the NUX MG-101, use a tight high-gain model with an EQ block scooping 800Hz while boosting 1.6k/3.2kHz to compensate for the lower-output ceramic bridge pickup on your Pacifica 012. Keep the noise gate aggressive so palm mutes cut off abruptly without feedback.

PRO TIPDime tuned approximately a quarter-step flat from standard D (D standard around 425–430 Hz rather than 440 Hz); tune slightly flat of D standard to lock in with the original record's pitch.
