Why these settings

The Borne F60 is a budget solid-state practice amp — it actually shares DNA with Dimebag's solid-state Randall approach (tight, uncompressed response). Your RG350dx's INF3 bridge humbucker is hotter and brighter than Dimebag's L-500XL, so I dropped mid to 3 (scoop) and kept treble at 8 rather than pushing higher. Without the MXR EQ pedal in front, the amp's EQ alone cannot achieve the full V-curve — the recommended EQ pedal is critical for authenticity. Push gain to 8 to compensate for the F60's lower saturation ceiling.

PRO TIPPalm mute directly over the bridge pickup with the heel of your picking hand barely touching the strings — Dimebag's attack was tight and percussive, not muddy. Tune to D standard dropped a quarter step (D-G-C-F-A-D at ~432Hz) for the exact pitch and string tension.
