Why these settings

Your GRG170DX has passive Infinity humbuckers—lower output and warmer than Dimebag's hot EMGs—so gain is pushed to 8 to compensate. The Debut 50R lacks an FX loop for the post-preamp scoop, so mids are dropped to 3 on the amp itself. ISF set fully British (clockwise) gets closer to the tight, aggressive Randall voicing than the American side.

PRO TIPDimebag's right-hand attack was vicious—dig in hard with the pick angled slightly and palm-mute tight against the bridge saddles, releasing pressure only on accents. The tone lives in that percussive chug, not just the amp settings.
