Why these settings

Your Triple XXX is tube-driven with more natural compression than Dime's solid-state Randall, so gain is dropped from his dimed 10 to 7—the XXX saturates faster. Mids are set to 4 (scooped) because the XXX has a more prominent mid-push than the Randall; presence is high at 8 to replicate the Randall's bright, cutting top end. Your ESP's active EMG-HZ pickups are hotter than Dime's passive Bill Lawrence, reinforcing the lower gain setting.

PRO TIPDime doubled the arpeggiated theme at the solo's start for thickness—if recording, track it twice panned L/R. For the climactic harmonic squeals, he used a DigiTech Whammy on pinch harmonics at the 4th and 12th frets of G and B strings; without a Whammy, hit pinch harmonics and bend aggressively while riding your volume knob for swells.
