Why these settings

The Fender PR 241 (Frontman 15G chassis) lacks a mid control and presence knob, so mid-shaping is compensated by pushing drive to 9 and balancing high treble against a warm bass setting. To compensate for single-coil Strat pickups versus Dimebag's hot Bill Lawrence L-500XL humbucker, roll the guitar tone knob slightly back to 8 to avoid piercing ice-pick highs while retaining cut. Adding an external graphic EQ and delay pedal will immediately bridge the gap to Dime's studio solo sound. Clean intro/outro: switch amp to Normal channel with Gain at 3.
