The Blackstar Debut 50R's ISF control should be dialed hard counter-clockwise around 2 to emulate the tight, scooped American solid-state Randall character rather than British warmth. Because the amp does not have an active graphic EQ, pulling the mid knob down to 2 and pushing treble to 9 gives you Dime's signature razor-sharp bite without turning completely fizzy. The Debut 50R lacks a physical presence control, so top-end attack is shaped entirely via the treble pot.
