Engage the onboard overdrive block as a tight pre-gain boost into the Metal 2000 model
The Mustang LT25 Metal 2000 model provides the high-gain solid-state saturation of Dimebag's Randall rig. To compensate for the Squier Stratocaster's lower-output single-coil pickups compared to Dimebag's high-output L-500XL blade humbucker, the amp gain is pushed to 8 and bass is boosted to 8 to restore low-end body. The extreme mid cut to 2 replicates the signature Furman and MXR 800Hz V-scoop directly on the amp's tone stack.
