The Coolmusic 150 is voiced cleaner/more scooped than the Randall RG100ES, so mid is dropped to 3 (vs Dime's 4) and gain pushed to 8 to compensate for lower compression. The Explorer's humbuckers are lower-output than Dime's Dimebuckers — if the tone lacks aggression, push gain to 9. The MXR EQ in the loop is 50% of this tone's DNA; without it, max the amp's treble and bass, cut mids to 2, and accept a less surgical scoop.
