Why these settings

The original tone relies heavily on the fast transient attack of solid-state Randall RG100ES clipping and aggressive EQ shaping via a Furman PQ-3 and MXR 6-band EQ. On the Flamma FX100, we use a high-gain amp model with the onboard EQ block scooping 630Hz while pushing 1.4kHz–3.2kHz to match Dime's signature razor-sharp pick attack. Because the Les Paul Classic's humbuckers are warmer than Dime's hot Bill Lawrence L500XL, treble and presence are pushed higher to capture the cutting sizzle.

PRO TIPPick with aggressive, heavy downward angle using a thick, pointed pick right next to the bridge saddles to maximize the harsh metallic attack Dimebag achieved on the initial transient.
